We got both vehicles nicely through tech inspections, so our work back in Chicago was successful. We did not like the ballast weights we were assigned to carry, but it won’t hamper performance by a lot since there is no elevation to overcome on the range and efficiency testing.
What really sucks is the installation of the DAS data aquisition system, it’s slowly but surely getting to be a data accusation system…when we tried the one on #72, it stopped the traction motor because it obviously interferes with the CAN data of the Brusa drive. I swear to god I’ll rip it out and throw it over the fence all in one single swift movement if it does that tommorow during the range testing…
